La videoperitación es idónea para siniestros graves tipo DANA

Grupo GAB ha atendido más de 4.750 siniestros de hogar como consecuencia del fenómeno atmosférico de la DANA (Depresión Aislada en Niveles Altos), que tuvo especial impacto en las comunidades de Murcia y Levante entre el 9 y el 16 de septiembre del pasado año.

Principalmente, como consecuencia del fenómeno de gota fría, Grupo GAB ha realizado peritaciones en las regiones de Murcia y Alicante, si bien ha cubierto otras zonas del litoral mediterráneo comprendidas entre Almería y Gerona.

Del total de 4.750 peritaciones realizadas hasta la fecha por la DANA, el 23% (1.086 siniestros) se ha gestionado a través de videoperitación. Los principales daños reportados estaban comprendidos dentro de los “fenómenos atmosféricos”, más concretamente, los producidos básicamente por los efectos de la lluvia.

Las zonas dañadas han sido variadas y afectaban tanto al contenido como al continente. En algunos casos los daños eran parciales y en otros eran totales, y también ha habido siniestros de daños mixtos.

Dispositivo especial
Grupo GAB ha puesto en marcha un dispositivo especial de seguimiento de la DANA con el objetivo de reforzar la atención y el servicio a los clientes y asegurados de las zonas afectadas, especialmente en las regiones de Murcia y Alicante y, en menor medida, del litoral mediterráneo.

“Más de 20 peritos se desplazaron a las áreas afectadas y la Dirección estuvo coordinando las operaciones desde las oficinas que Grupo GAB tiene en las distintas zonas que padecieron los efectos de la DANA”

Normalmente, con una red de 150 peritos, que dan servicio a todo el territorio nacional, y un departamento de videoperitaciones, Grupo GAB gestiona un volumen de entre 300 y 450 siniestros al mes. Sin embargo, los efectos de la DANA aumentaron un 540% el volumen de siniestros a gestionar.

Aun pudiendo derivar a la mayoría de los peritos a las áreas afectadas, se decidió que era materialmente imposible realizar peritaciones presenciales dada la situación (inundación) de las redes de comunicación y las zonas afectadas.

Una de las medidas exclusivas puesta en marcha por Grupo GAB ha sido formar a un grupo de 5 personas (3 peritos + 2 administrativos) para realizar videoperitaciones. Esta es una solución perfecta para dar servicio a este tipo de situaciones especiales. Con una videollamada de entre 10-15 minutos, el asegurado puede tener el informe de su siniestro en 24 horas.

Para Alejandro Bañón, director Comercial de Grupo GAB, “nuestra experiencia y estructura nos ha permitido dar respuesta de forma ágil y rápida a las necesidades de nuestros clientes. Hemos ofrecido a miles de asegurados, en función de las características del siniestro, la posibilidad de gestionar directamente su caso a través de una videoperitación. En el 23% de los casos el siniestro se ha gestionado a través de este servicio”.
